Viewjoo wanted a mobile-centric platform that would make it easier for people to find salons, restaurants, entertainment parks and other services in their vicinity. Challenges Faced By Viewjoo
Viewjoo tackled key challenges around precise location accuracy, clean user experience, and long-term scalability. By optimising location queries, simplifying design, and building a flexible backend, the platform delivers fast results today while staying ready for future growth and expansion globally. A significant challenge was to provide location-based results which were very precise and very fast. However, we managed to do this by optimising the location queries and, at the same time, improving the way that the nearby services were fetched and displayed. The offering of more features and a user-friendly interface was a difficult task which required close attention to design. The user experience (UX) challenge was to provide enough information to the user without overwhelming them with too much information. The platform was designed for future increases in the number of users and of the listed businesses. We created the backend architecture in such a way that the scaling would be very easy when new features and locations are added.
